They had been worlds apart…literally. Then in 1994 Angel Garcia, from Puebla, Mexico, met Rosa Collantes, from Peru. Together in New York City the two created a world of dance as teachers, performers, and choreographers. The pair developed a unique style in Argentine Tango, Milonga and Vals plus a repertoire in Latin American Folklore. Their versatility includes Salsa and Merengue. Angel and Rosa are always in step…and always in demand. Audiences throughout the U.S., South America and Europe have cheered the intensity and authenticity that is the hallmark of Angel and Rosa's work. Sought after both separately and together, their success stories as choreographers include a tribute to Tito Puente, Madison Square Garden and Camila at the Walnut Street Theatre. They have performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Felt Form at Madison Square Garden and Town Hall. They appeared on Good Morning America, Best Talk and Canal Sur. "Hey Cousin Vinnie" with Joe Pesci and "Tu Corazon" by Vanessa Williams brought them to a new venue in their career, music videos.
