SATURDAY APRIL 12TH & Sunday April 13th

Balance-Lead & Follow Keys
This is the only way that can make dancing with you a wonderful experience. Without good balance there cannot be good leading and following. The couple is not relaxed and as a consequence enjoying the dance becomes really difficult. Without good leading and following you lose the connection and as a result interest is lost. A follower becomes heavy and slow or a leader becomes clumsy.

85% of the students studying Tango have balance problems regardless of their level. It's difficult to move to the next level of dancing if these concepts are not understood and corrected.

*The key to achieving balance. More advanced technique and exercises.
*The key to successful leading. Advanced technique & exercises.
*The key to successful following. Advanced technique and exercises.
*How to apply everything in a sequence while dancing.

Foundations
The key to improvisation

The art of improvisation requires that you know this key. Discovering such a simple and powerful key becomes magical on the dance floor. Mastering it depends on how much time, practice and dedication you give it.

Back secadas for leaders & followers
Secadas can be very simple or very complicated. They show us how good our base technique really is. Without a good foundation this type of move can be very difficult and sometimes impossible to do. So technique is important. Many leaders & followers destroy each others ankles while executing this move. There is a secret to solving this problem.

*Pivot, exercises for disassociation. Back secada for men.
*Technique for secadas for women. Combinations.

New elements & trends in Argentine Tango
In this workshop you will learn about the latest trends in AT. Every year techniques are revised and changed completely. For example boleos have been taught in at least five different ways in the last ten years. Today we can enjoy more than a dozen of them.

New innovations bring motivation and contribute to change within the dance. They inspire us to investigate, have fun,  play around and exchange new ideas. This constitutes important ingredients when learning this dance. Years ago in BA men got together in different neighborhoods and tried and discovered new steps. Today the same thing happens. If you are looking for change and want to know some of the latest trends this workshop is for you.

*Rotating & Twisting moves
*Rotating ganchos; combinations with new colgadas
*Paradas and sostenidas with your hands
Change of embrace for volcadas, colgadas, gaunchos and secadas
